Get to know me
Of course, a short text on a website can't replace getting to know each other in person, but it can perhaps give a first impression of my own motivation.
family man and "idealist with grounding"
I am married and have two daughters. I studied business administration with a focus on auditing, marketing and environmental economics.
27 years in the most valuable company in the world
As a director of Apple, I left a significant mark on the environment and sustainability.

The human being
My motivation for advocating for causes that serve a greater purpose has driven me for decades. Several books have significantly influenced me. Al Gore's 1992 book, "Paths to Balance: A Marshall Plan for the Earth," was the catalyst that led me to fight for a more environmentally friendly approach at Apple for several decades. I've also been interested in [unclear] for almost as long.

The guardrails
Over time, the following values have emerged as guiding principles in my life: I love being physically active and experiencing the physical exertion and vitality of it. I find being with other people, whether in a lighthearted atmosphere or for deep conversations, equally enriching. I am particularly impressed by people who have found their purpose in life.

The way
I am extremely grateful to have experienced Apple's corporate culture for over 27 years. The pioneering spirit, the focus on innovation, the absolute commitment to developing perfect products and services, the laser-like focus on goals in all activities, and the company values lived out in everyday life have profoundly shaped my career. Even during my business administration studies

My realignment
For a long time, I viewed personal development primarily from the perspective of performance enhancement—being able to achieve even more in less time, whether in sports, at work, or in other areas of life. Several philosophical conversations with Albert Kitzler, his words of wisdom, and his books have brought me closer to timeless principles for living authentically.
